Cassidy Club play on Sunday 10th July @ 9pm. An alternative/indie rock band from County Cork they're inspired by The Pixies, The Smiths, Weezer, Ben Folds and Big Star, Cassidy Club also draw inspiration from live theatre and comedy. Cassidy Club believe in crafting clever, quirky songs and in creating live shows filled with energy, spectacle and humour. Also, venues permitting, helium balloons, paper planes, personalised sweets and bubbles. Cassidy Club played their first gig as a duo, coming together to win a UCC talent show in 2013. A year later songwriter Rob was asked if he had a band to play at Knockanstockan music festival and said that he did. Immediately afterwards he assembled some talented and hard-working musicians and Cassidy Club, the band, was born. Since then they've kept working hard at ever-improving their songs and live performance. Cassidy Club know the difference between taking themselves and their craft seriously.
