Rouge are a quintet passionate about delivering the story within the jazz tradition and still keep it swinging. They focus on the lyrical and melodic strengths of many great jazz musicians throughout the ages, Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole and even Tom Waits and Randy Newman. Jazz musicians always liked to take a popular song of the day and then play it their way. Rouge like to do the same and keep you dancing too.
