Alan White is a singer/songwriter from Cork, Ireland who, in addition to his solo projects, is a member of the Canadian-based world collective, Macro Fiesta. In 1999, encouraged by his musical heritage, Alan picked up a guitar for the first time and never looked back. He has since travelled throughout Europe and Canada performing live as both a solo artist and with Macro Fiesta as the guitarist and vocalist. Alan's music is meant to honestly reflect the lives we live, the love we lose and the hope that springs eternal. His debut solo album is due for digital release in July 2012 and will incorporate a variety of the genres that influence him including reggae, folk and pop.
