Katie O’Connell is a 23 year old singer songwriter from Cork City. Katie has been involved in singing and dancing since she could talk and walk. Through her teenage years Katie was involved in many bands but at the age of 20 decided to take her singing more seriously. In May 2011 Katie signed up with PPM Management and begun the process of crafting original material. Since then she has formed Lennoko working with Jiri Meixner (guitar), Rory Murphy (bass) and James Ryan (drums and percussion). Lennoko have been busy writing and performing since the start of the year and have played successful gigs across some of Cork’s Premier venues in 2012/13. The band are going to record their debut album in 2013 and a debut single will be released Spring/Summer 2014. PPM are working on more dates as we speak and gigs around Cork city will be announced shortly.
