The Impressionists were formed back in 2005, when Kevin O Connor, Denis Moloney & Cliff Masheti got together in a 3 piece Hip-Hop style band. They then went on to win Blast:Beat 2006 and after other members came and went, the band settled with four members, adding Iain O' Leary as guitarist. The band had some real high points over the summer, most notably playing at the Oxegen music festival and various venues around Cork and Dublin. Their work was rewarded on the first of January this year, when they officially signed to BlastSpace records, recording two more tracks, in preparation for their album later this year.
