The Roundy Sessions are thrilled to have Bobby back for a fantastic night of serious guitar. Throughout the 90s Bobby played with a number of bands including Open Kitchen (a funky country four piece) and most notably Hooky, a band co-formed by Bobby. Both bands achieved considerable success with two album releases, national T.V appearances, international tours, gigs with David Gray, Mercury Rev, The Kinks and Dublin based band, Kila. In 1996 he was selected by Rory Gallagher’s brother Donal to receive the accolade of “Irish Guitarist of the Future”, a competition sponsored by Fender. At the award ceremony in Wembley arena Bobby was in the company of guitar legends such as, Hank Marvin of The Shadows, Albert Lee and Fleetwood Macs Peter Green. Having compiled the independent release of “Trust” in 2004, he is now due to release his first solo album, entitled “Red River Blue Sky. Don’t miss this gig.
